Mariel and Joe, established medical professionals, have relocated to a new city for work. They were excited about a new chapter but wanted to avoid feeling overwhelmed by the process of moving in and getting settled. Their relocation allowed them to create a home that supports their professional lives and provides a sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation. We could fully furnish and decorate their home to reflect their style while allowing them to focus on their careers.

Thanks to a total gut, we were able to transform the kitchen from dark and dreary to a cheerful oasis. The custom hood, made to match the island, brings in a welcome splash of color, while under-cabinet lighting throughout adds warmth and dimension.

Combining textures and materials adds visual interest without a room becoming too overwhelming. By layering items like the green velvet chair, faux fur stool and knitted throws, we created a cozy and luxurious primary bedroom that is nothing except inviting at the end of a long day.

Since relocating, having a space for visiting family and friends was a must-have. This space offers comfort and amenities with a bright conversation area and kitchenette.

Adding family memorabilia makes any room feel more personal and homey. With a cushiony sectional, pool table, and a wet bar, this downstairs space is a less formal spot to unwind and chill.
