For this transitional home with a mid-century modern twist, we were working on a bit of a ticking clock—the couple was expecting a baby and wanted a warm, welcoming space for their growing family. The home has a stunning view, which we maximized by opening up the space and letting in the light.
“When we had major water damage from a slow refrigerator leak, we hired Bethany to remodel our kitchen. We were so impressed with her that we decided to renovate our whole house. Bethany is upbeat and compassionate. She brought a fresh perspective to this project. For example, I thought we had to accept a wood-burning fireplace and support post that split up our living room. She replaced it with a big beam across the ceiling and it completely opened up that space. We now have a beautiful, six-foot wide electric fireplace. Our kitchen is everything we hoped for. There’s a quartz island of light gray and dark blue with gold specks and trendy appliances like a slim microwave and separate pebble icemaker. The lighting throughout the house really stands out, especially the stylish, unique chandeliers. From one room to the next, the colors blend so well and complement each other. We often pinch ourselves because it’s hard to believe this comfortable, luxurious home is ours.”
The kitchen features a statement light fixture and a wall of family photos—with a dry bar and expandable table for effortless entertaining.
Here we removed a central obstruction, which had made the previous space feel closed-off, added an electric fireplace, and opened up all the windows by decluttering and letting the magnificent views take center stage. A wood support-beam, which had to stay, became an unexpected design boon, adding warmth and character in its natural wood state.
We gave the entry a clean, clutter-free makeover with a crisp white palette and an inviting spot for hanging coats and taking off shoes.
We took the laundry room from crowded and cramped to crisp and clean with streamlined storage. A meaningful artwork brings personality to the space.
We took this space from chaotic to clean by removing the clutter and adding beautiful new storage.
We dramatically opened up this previously crowded space and removed the existing fireplace, making way for handsome new cabinetry, sconce lights, and a stylish TV area for the client to enjoy his love of gaming. A Murphy bed on the opposite wall creates a welcoming space for guests.
In addition to reconfiguring the room’s layout, we added an elegant blackout window treatment, a show-stopping light fixture and pendants, and an ultra-cozy new seating area.
Custom cabinets, white tiles, gold fixtures, a new tub, and a built-in vanity table make the master bath feel like a luxurious retreat.
Modern and masculine with a luxurious steam shower. Need we say more?
The old kitchen was dull, dark, and devoid of space. Our beautiful new custom-cabinetry creates plenty of storage, including handy drop-station drawers for mail and tech on one side of the island to keep clutter at bay. Elevated pendant lights offer perfect sightlines to the Frame TV, while luxe features, including a new backsplash and gold fittings, create a sense of understated glamour.
